Location
The conference scientific programme will be held in the Nancy Rothwell Building (Booth Street East, Manchester, M13 9PL) at University of Manchester.
Transportation
Air
Manchester Airport is the nearest airport to the University. Direct international travel is usually available. Otherwise, direct flights or rail travel are available between London Heathrow and Manchester Airport or rail stations respectively.
Manchester airport has convenient connections to both Oxford Road and Piccadilly rail stations – both are a 15 to 20-minute walk, or 10-minute bus ride to the venue.
Rail
The university campus is a short (15 to 20 minutes) walk from either Oxford Road or Piccadilly rail stations. International travellers arriving by Eurostar can change at London St. Pancras, and then get a direct train from London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly (ca. 2hrs).
Accommodation
After you have registered, you may book accommodation at the Hyatt Regency using the instructions provided in your registration confirmation email (including the promotional code) at this address: https:/hotelbooking.mbs.ac.uk/. Please note that if the promotional code is not entered before searching, no available rooms will be shown.
Any dates outside of 6-11th September will need to be booked separately (at https://www.alliancembs.manchester.ac.uk/about/our-campus/hyatt-hotel/). If you make bookings both during and outside the conference dates, please contact the hotel to confirm the room will remain the same throughout your stay if you require this.

When making your own booking, please note that the conference programme runs from 14:00 on Sunday 6th September to the end of Thursday 10th September – the gala dinner finishes at 23:30 on Thursday.
